Welcome to Y Cwt Mwg Smokery & Farm Shop our small family run farm shop in Dulas, Anglesey. 

We are passionate about producing good quality food here on our farm and supporting other local producers across Anglesey and Wales. From our own traditionally oak smoked produce to eggs from our own flock, goat meat from our own herd and pork from our own pigs, everything we sell has a story behind it. 

We smoke all of our products here on the farm, using sustainably sourced oak chips to give our meats, cheeses, fish and other products their distinctive flavour. 




What's in the Farm Shop?

  • Our own smoked produce

Our onsite smokery is at the heart of what we do. We smoke a wide range of products from sustainably sourced Scottish Salmon to Welsh Salted Butter all in small batches to help reduce food waste and ensure the best quality. 

Using sustainably sourced oak chips, we take care to create beautifully smoked products with plenty of flavour.

Because we are a small family business, our range can change depending on what we have available, so every visit can be a little different. But if there is something specific you would like for your visit please give us a call ahead of time and we will see what we can do. 

  • Our own farm-reared goat meat

We are also proud to have our very own goat meat from our goat herd here on the farm. We use a local slaughter house and we butcher the meat ourselves in small batches back here on the farm allowing us to take care and pride in each stage of the process. 

  • Eggs from our farm

We have a limited amount of eggs available from our own flock of chickens which are free to roam around in their own field, giving you the opportunity to take home fresh eggs produced right here on the farm. 

  • Local & Welsh produce

Alongside our own farm produce, we stock a variety of products from other local Welsh producers, with a particular focus on Anglesey and North Wales.

We love supporting other small businesses and showcasing some of the fantastic food and products being made locally, especially when they pair so well with our own. 

 

Why visit us?

We are not a large farm shop or supermarket - and that's exactly how we like it.

We are a small family run farm shop where our own farm and smokery is at the heart of what we do. 

We make and prepare our products in small batches, smoke everything onsite, raise our own animals and poultry and we work with other local producers to bring you a selection of Welsh made food. 

When you visit us, you are supporting a small family farm and a collection of local producers.

 

When can you visit us?

Our main opening hours are Monday - Saturday 10am to 4pm

If you arrive and the shop is unattended, please don't worry! We'll have our mobile number displayed on the shop door, just give us a call and we'll make sure someone is available to come and open the shop for you.

As a small family run farm the opening hours can occasionally vary as we have other jobs around the farm & smokery to tend to.
